Haute Couture Paris FW 2017-18, A.F. Vandevorst
Belgian husband-wife team An Vandevorst and Filip Arickx launched their first collection in Paris in 1998, almost twenty years ago. Now, always in the French capital, A.F. Vandevorst remains absolutely faithful to its aestethic mission and it shows a high fashion fall/winter 2017-18 collection where is the design, so amazing, eccentric and over-the-top, the great protagonist of every look that, at first glance, seem absolutely but they actually hide a false bottom...
And here it's hidden the true soul of this brand that, between iridescent and animal prints, bright colors, wraparound or large shapes, as in the maxi coat or in evening dresses with train, it enjoys creating outfit for women capable to consider the fashion only a game just like they did when they were just children.
Cult piece from the collection the jacket to wear over the head. An ironic and irreverent divertissement, as bicolor dress with extravagant hood and sexy uniforms in Napoleonic style.
